Clayton, N.J. Gloucester County officials arrested two teenage brothers in connection with the death of 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale, CBS Philly reports.
County prosecutor Sean Dalton said at a press conference Tuesday that Autumn, who was was last seen Saturday on her bicycle, was lured into the home of the 15- and 17-year-old brothers to obtain parts for her BMX bike. The crime was allegedly committed in that house.
Dalton said the boys' mother contacted police about posts she saw on her son's Facebook page.
"A preliminary cause of death is blunt force trauma consistent with strangulation," said Dalton, according to CBS Philly.
The suspects were charged with first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, tampering with evidence, theft, disposing of a body. The 15-year-old is also charged with one count of luring.

The teenage brothers were known around town for their love of BMX bicycles. And one of the boys, the 15-year-old, had developed a reputation for stealing them to break them down for parts, friends said.
Twelve-year-old Autumn Pasquale owned a bike like that. White, with maroon handlebars. She lived up the street and around a corner, 17 houses away. She rode that bike through the neighborhood all the time. She was riding it Saturday afternoon, the last time anyone saw her alive.
Today, in a case that has devastated the southern New Jersey community of Clayton, Gloucester County Prosecutor Sean Dalton said the 15-year-old lured Autumn to his home with the intention of stealing the bicycle for parts. And there, Dalton said, the teen and his 17-year-old brother killed her.
The announcement, during a late-afternoon press conference, came 18 hours after investigators found Autumn’s body stuffed in a recycling bin on a derelict property next to the brothers’ home.
You must know that if it had been two white “ teen boys “ who murdered a black girl , the headline would have read “ Two white teens arrested in N.J. 12 year old Black girl’s death .” , or something similar .

They were avid buyers, sellers and traders of bike parts. These idiots more than likely did it for the parts.

As you see, this story is in Chat. Did Morgana post in in Chat? I should hope not. It was likely moved from News to Chat by the moderators. This is their usual pattern.

See you guys don’t understand what the real situation is here. The fact is it was culturally unfair that she, an evil rich white girl had this nice BMX bike, and the poor underprivileged african american boys, who were turning their life around, didn’t own. The outcome of the situation has no bearing on the fact that life is now fairer, and the playing field is now more level. (/sarcasm tag off) before I puke.
It does not matter if their records are cleaned. I am willing to bet money they will keep offending long after they turn 21. Their record will be long enough to stretch around the equator.
