Probably not. I was just hoping for a quick explanation.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There’s NOTHING quick going on around the FR ranch today. As you well know. But let me rant on about libertarians for a little bit if I may.
Libertarians are socially liberal. That means they are pro-dope, pro-porn, pro abortion, pro-gay marriage and so on. If it’s not expressly mentioned in the Constitution: then it’s not their business to support laws against these “personal freedoms”, no matter how egregious and harmful they are to our nation.
Libertarians are a sad lot as they are unwanted by the Democrats and the Republicans. And the fact they look to “leaders” like Gary Johnson and Ron Paul explains it all.
Oh. I thought Libertarians were for small gov't, which is something I favor. If you read Charles Beard's classic An Economic Interpretation of the Constitution, you get a compelling feeling that the gov't is involved in a lot of endeavors where it doesn't belong. Cell phones for the poor! What the hell is that all about other than to use our money to buy votes. Any group, regardless of moniker, that favors smaller gov't is a group I have at least some sympathy with.
