Indeed. That daughter was trying to “other” her own mother in her mother’s own house, using an Alinsky tactic on her own mother, under her mother’s roof, at the hands of her mother’s hospitality.
I read it to my daughter, 15, last night. I told her pretty much what I posted. She then said, "Would you not talk to me if I were a liberal?"
I said, I would still talk to her but our relationship would be very strained because I really could not have any respect for her and honestly I would question her bravery in the face of standing up to what is right against the left or her mental stability. That is honestly how I would feel. My kids have a very solid understanding of who the left is, the history and the misery it brings. I said you don't have to mirror my beliefs but there are many choices other than the destructive cult of the left that can only bring you unhappiness.
