The speculation is that Iran dispatched hit squads and Zer0 was afraid of problems with Russia if he fought back.

I was also stunned, and also felt justified in my suspicions, when I saw Lie-on Panetta and David Petraeus in the press briefing Thursday, attempting to lie their and Obunga’s way out of the Benghazi tar pit.
Panetta couldn’t even stand up straight, slumped over, and seemingly almost hiding behind the lectern and shifting his gaze around the room at everything EXCEPT the camera lens, as he mumbled out the lies du jour he received from POTUS, et al.
And Petraeus had such a pure shit-faced guilty expression on his face and a pasty white countenance. What a sorry, despicable pair of amoral creeps! Petraeus might yet be capable of coming forth with the truth if his conscience is still operative. I have no such hope for Panetta. He sold his soul to the democRAT party many years ago.
