Just heard on FOX news that Gov. of Delaware is ordering evacuations from Sandy.
No further info.
Just the voting machines?
Typical Democratic nanny state response. Let people make up their own minds, they know what their house can take.
NOAA are the ones who get the “data” that say it is even 75 mph winds which make it a hurricane. funny how it is just barely over the limit to make it a hurricane huh and at the height of an election, to cover for bengazi gate, funny huh?
This is the Ocbober surprise and it's called sandy. And all frreepers , drudge everyone falling for it.
Orders evacuation?? Ain’t gonna happen.
latest track i saw had landfall over northern delaware or new jersey. christie has called for evacuations too. some of this is to protect first repsonders and maximize use of assets, plus some people are just stupid.
been doing some reading on the LONG ISLAND EXPRESS hurricane of ‘38 and the ISSAC’S STORM (galveston hurricane) of ‘05 both of which hit with no warning.
Christie has called for voluntary evacuations, the democraps in Delaware have ordered it. There is your difference between Republicans and Democrats. Even a RINO like Christie knows that the people know better than the government.
Your typical hurricane ~ and we've had plenty of them around here, is usually good for a day, day and a half of wind, with just a few hours of really high winds.
The folks living out on the beach ~ 'cause that's all Delaware is ~ a big ol' beach ~ are at risk.
That figures... I just posted a ad there on Craig’s list
Looking for bidens Archmere academy high school 1961 yearbook.

Oh well might find that yearbook one of these days.
You’ll know Obama has lost the election if Sandy becomes a bigger story than Romney.
Dover AFB sits at an elevation of 13 feet. There is that little set of buildings at the back end of the base, known as the mortuary. If Delaware is going to evacuate, where will the Air Force move all that stuff within that building?
Max storm surge will be about eight feet.
Thirteen feet is good to go!
The evacs have nothing to do with DAFB. The “order” is mostly for the coastal towns in Sussex county at the mouth of the Delaware Bay. DAFB is in Kent county and the type flooding they are concerned about are not an issue at the base. I lived practically next door to that base for 20 years.
