Thank you, and I hope it doesn’t get awful where you are...

I understand the allure of the downstairs in a storm-I never, ever stay upstairs during a storm-it just doesn’t feel secure. Maybe it is an atavistic memory from when we learned we were more secure in caves than in forests during a storm.

MrT5 never minded being upstairs during a storm, no matter how loudly the wind howled around the house and in the trees-his family was from the great white north, and he grew up in the pacific northwest, and I always wondered if that had anything to do with it...

Well looking up at trees through the skylight and knowing we’ve had them come down not infrequently is my reason for fearing them! The house has been spared thus far, thankfully. Power has flickered but held thus far.
