Happy days!!! Notre Dame is good enough to hate again.
You obviously have your “USC’s” mixed up.
You probably get your “Carolina’s” mixed up too!! :)
I was talking with a co-worker and he wants Notre Dame to run the table then get crushed in the BCS Title game.
For me, this past weekend was a downer. The Trojans lost and the Domers and Bruins won. But not all was lost. The Occidental College Tigers beat the Pomona Sage Hens in Southern California’s longest college football rivalry. The win took place at Occidental’s Jack Kemp Stadium, named for the Oxy football star who became a conservative statesman.
I wouldn’t mind seeing another “Field Goal” game.
GO WILDCATS!
KLEIN FOR HEISMAN!
EMAW!
Ohio State, 9-0.... hehe.
GO KSU! Coach Snyder and the “Cats would be great in a showdown with The Tide.
It would be awesome if the over-paid coaches at the football dynasties would have to watch KSU win the BCS championship.
Why not just call them out as the Trojans or the Cocks?
Smoke and mirrors along the Olentangy. The Bucks are prehaps the worst undefeated major college team ever for this point in a season. Sad statement on the caliber of play in the Big Ten and I see the world through Scarlet and Gray glasses.
I know a girl who insists that the University of Santa Clara is the real USC. Indeed, their theme song, "Varsity, Fight!" is one of my favorite football songs. However, the Trojans decided the matter of who was the real USC in a 52-12 rout of the Broncos in 1927, which capped a three-game win streak by the boys from South Hoover Street over the school with a Mission.
It’s really funny when you consider the stupidity of the way that the teams ranked fifth through eighth in this poll line up. USC with 2 losses should be nowhere near the top 10. yet, they beat Georgia, who is ahead of them. Florida beat LSU and South Carolina but lost to Georgia. The Gators are rightly placed behind Georgia, yet they are also behind LSU, who they beat. The SEC is a big circle jerk.
Notre Dame barely beat Stanford and BYU at home, and Oregon crushed BYU. Oregon will crush Stanford and USC.
The two best teams are Alabama and Oregon, and I don’t think Alabama can keep up with Oregon’s speed and Oregon now has the size to take on SEC line play.
Mo matter what ND and KSU do, it will be Bama and Oregon if they both stay undefeated.
Blah Blah, I don’t like the Flamboyant Rhue Paul Ducks. It helps to have some refs in your pocket.
