The alluvion of evidence on Benghazi should be on every news station. Voters should know all about this, not just FOX fans.

The northeast has had enough alluvion to last 3 lifetimes. But, when I heard an irate NYer interviewed on Fox the other night say, “This isn’t the Midwest! We’re not supposed to have floods like this. This is NAHYAWK!” I could hardly suppress a smile.

Alluvion sounds entirely too nice for what we've seen recently.

We're talking about water, right?

I Am Water

I am water. I will flow. There is no place I cannot go.
The heart in darkness still will stop, to taste refreshment in a drop.
Cool liquid, sweet and pure, that brings the strength to help endure.
The conflagration burning near will calm, and cool when I am here.

Descending with my friends who fall as tender mercies come to call.
A message from a Friend on High, arriving when the need is nigh.
I am water. I will seep in arid soil where seeds may sleep.
I’ll wake them gently and invite, their rise into the air and light.

My tender touch will gently clean the dust that falls on leaves of green.
In Nature’s garden, I am rain that fills with joy the fruit and grain.
In raging floods of constant thunder, I am that which rips asunder,
The shelters made of stone and sticks that took your hands so long to fix.

What is my purpose, showing might? Do I oppose you in some fight?
I am that force that breaks the stone, so plants and flowers can be sown.
I am the hammer blows that fall, to batter down the prison wall,
To make a garden. Food will grow and gentle souls and hearts may go.

I am water. I am Life. I am joy amid the strife.
Extinguishing the burning blaze, ending droughts, and cutting ways,
Through hardest stone, to break the rocks and open up the prison locks.
I am water. I am tears. I am with you in your fears.

I will wash your pain away and bring fresh hope at end of day.
I am water. I am you. I will make all things be new.
I am water. I will flow. There is no place I cannot go.
I am the hurts felt as you grow. I am water. I will flow.

Let there be an “alluvion” of voters on tuesday
to rival Chick-fil-a day.

Waterfront property is highly overrated. I am always amused when folks who bought property on “Creekside Lane”, or “Westchester Lakes”, or “Shoreland Drive” are shocked when their houses flood during a storm, or other water emergency.

Happens all the time around here — especially during the spring thaw when the surface snow melts off before the ground has thawed enough to absorb the run off. But, of course, we are the Midwest so we are not immune to such things like those privileged Nahyawkers!

Gotta go to the dentist now. ‘Bye, All.

Well, we actually have an alluvian of progress economically ....

That is, since people expect Romney to be elected, the economy will be seen as improving.

If they flooded those restaurants for free speech and marriage, they will flood the voting booths to end our misery. A++

The veins on my neck are engorged and pulsating with an alluvion of blood as my anger grows over Obama leaving four men behind in Benghazi.

In those yesterdays, antediluvian
When we feared not of matters alluvion
We had gas, food and power
And could take a hot shower
Now we feel like Pompeii, post-Vesuvian

He left a lot more than that. If Tyrone Woods had not disobeyed orders and brought out some 30 American citizens, more would have died. Maybe even some women. Think about it. Obama left them all to die.

A+++

A year ago we flooded here, worse flood we had ever had. Thank God we were spared this year. Prayers for you and all those suffering. May God provide for you. Obama certainly isn’t.

Reminds me of the canceled Celebration of Water that was canceled up here due FrankenStorm. The celebration was actually a protest to fracking. Nice poem, though.

Does the Celebration of Water include a wet t-shirt contest?

Thanks, Ti. Here in northwestern NJ, we were pretty much spared. Some trees down, but little structural damage. A local couple had some really bad luck and was killed when a tree hit their car.

It is still virtually impossible to get gasoline, but that is a minor issue compared to all of the death and destruction Sandy brought. I hope I haven't used up my prayer quotient. Election Day is coming fast.
