As politically ideological as I am I bet you are wondering why I am so quite about this election. It’s that I am not putting my stock in Romney. He is WEAK and although he is heads above Barry he is going to let all of you people who are praising him now down big time. Yes he is going to win. And he will most likely win big. but not because he did anything except be the the other guy. Obama has been such a marxist and disaster that anybody but Obama would have won. Now comes the hard part. Fixing things. Oh yes the next year or two will be much better because optimism will peak. As it should. Obama has been intentionally trying to bring this country down so stopping that will be a weight off the economy. Drilling for oil will bring prices down and create jobs and trickle down and of course business will generally be better off. But then it will come down to hard decisions about what to do about the budget and deficit. Romney and the elite republicans will never rock the boat and make the hard choices. They are moderates and liberals and not conservatives. It will be status que and things will be right back where we started. High taxes, High inflation, dollar not worth anything and a weak under funded military. We will have 20 trillion deficit by the time Romney has to run for election again and he will just blame it on Obama and we will say YES. This is why I did not want a weak ass like Romney to be our nominee in the first place. The only reason I am not as vocal about being against him is the fact I don’t want to do anything to hurt getting Obama out either. Enjoy Tuesday.

I think your assessment is generally correct. I voted for Mitt but I am not under any illusions as to what I will be getting from him. Yes, he is a squish but he may get tougher. By all accounts he is a good and deceient man and this argues in his favor. I think he knows where the country stands and will start pushing the hard decisions that will start the correction. Is he tough enough? Not yet but MAYBE soon. Perhaps I am a foolish optimist. In the end will it be enough? Nope. I think the western financial system is going to collapse and we will not be able to stop it. So...
