No major shake ups in the BCS with no upsets despite several major match ups this weekend and another close call in South Bend. It appears Notre Dame is locked for a BCS bowl bid. Oregon on beating USC jumped over Notre Dame thanks to the human polls. One of the most glaring differences between human and silicon are the 2 ACC teams FSU ad Clemson with top 10 human rankings but hign teen computer rankings.

The problem with the computer polls is the humans who won’t allow the people who design the computer polls to consider scoring margin.

Crap, Pitt put enough of a scare into ND that I much fear a pounding being put on BC this Saturday. It’s a Noon game, so that means my father will want to go. On the bright side. A function I am going to afterwards is Open Bar.

LSU going to a prevent defense coat them the game. If Bama and Oregon go undefeated, it will be the moat watched BCS championship game ever. Don’t think Bama can outscore Oregon and Bama’s defense will not be able to stop the Oregon offense.

KSU will be left out because the Oregon strength of schedule here my h stronger and KSU’s gets weaker. The human polls are not going to put KSU over Oregon. ND will likely lose to USC.

I think LSU was a coach’s loss, but I was surprised at how deflated and give-up the team was on their last possession.

Great game to watch though.

Oregon? Really?

Why don't they rank Hawaii or Connecticut as number 2 in the Nation?

Anyone with a brain knows how ridiculous these "rankings" are.

Wait until these geek teams play a SOUTHERN team in the bowl games around December-January.

Then we all be reminded about how absurd all this "national ranking" sh!t is.

Dream on.

I cannot stand Alabama, but frosty iced tea will be served in hell before Oregon beats them.

I sure hope you’re correct. I sit on the edge of the chair the whole game watching my Ducks. I scream at the refs with the terrible call against them and then wife points out the terrible call against USC to offset their prior mistake. Oregon has a strong schedule but they have to carry it.

Oregon is pretty good, and extremely fast.

ND has no offense and Bama will score on their Defense...Oregon by putting up points, might have a shot.

Who else deserves the shot at this point...Bama has beaten the best SEC teams.

Hoping Alabama wins out, and that they get to meet President Romney!

They’ve had to endure 0bama twice!
