I live right over there, it is a nightmare and it is getting really cold.
FEMA called my one of my co-workers who rents out a house in the next town - they wanted to know if it was available and offered $3,600 a month without utilities.

Was that for FEMA employees or the homeless?

During Hurricane Ivan FEMA rented entire gulf-front condos in the Destin area to house their employees who were making damage assessments in the panhandle.
