Mike, come on. Unless we actually divide the nation by land, there is no way to change anything. Like Mark Levin said, “We really are two countries. One Red. One Blue.” We are their slaves now.

“I agree. The titanic demographic change has changed America and it is not going away. Each cycle it will become more and more pronounced. I’m wit you, I don’t know where we go, but traditional Conservatism in America is dead. It doesn’t mean we can’t “do something” but be assured, this is a very different America.”

Psssst... Hey you..... yes, you.....

Have you read any of Patrick J. Buchanan’s recent books?
“Death of the West” ?
“State of Emergency” ?

To anyone reading this reply:
Do you still think Buchanan is a nut case?
Do you reject the propositions he was talking about, about a “changed America”?

BTW, RightwardHo, I agree with everything you wrote...

Then why did he lose?

This loss was predicted by many on this site a long while back, but that really doesn’t matter.

Again, demographics means the jig is up for the prosperity of this country. The only thing that will stop the decline is improbable, but if the left goes too far I suppose enough people could be put in the situation of having nothing left to lose that another Revolution could be sparked, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Heard a talking head on Fox mention that the Republicans must figure out how to keep from “going the way of the Whigs”....

I think it’s obvious the GOP will go hard after the Mexican vote. The only way they can do that is back the DREAM act, if not something even worse, and they’ll be in favor of more handouts.

Unfortunately Obama would get the credit, not the GOP. Ironically our push back against it during the Bush years may have doomed our future opportunities to stop the Democrats.
