Sitting here browsing FR with my cat and getting somewhat blotto over the depressing election results. This is indeed a dark day in America.
I never thought I would live to see the day that my country would willingly embrace socialism.
It is the media’s fault. The media creates a false reality. If the media reported what was actually going on then Romney would have won, anyone would have won by 15% over this communist Obama.

You know didn’t many of us here say that this would happen with Romney as the nominee?
I said that he would be unable to draw a distinction and that he would be creamed by class warfare attacks.
I said that he would probably lose by one percent.
He did the best that he could and we all felt that he had a good chance in the last months, but in the beginning we doubted him and our doubts proved true.
He would have a been a good president. Just couldn’t over come the liberals and the takers.
Well, we are much better off than we were during the first two years under 0bama. The House actually became MORE conservative than it’s been for over four years, increasing the Republican majority.
The Democrats will need to herd two Independent senators. Not the worst thing for them, but not as helpful as two Democrats.
We can still filibuster to our hearts content, as well.
It could definitely be worse than it is. 0bama will own any financial collapse over the next four years, too. :-)
Tomorrow I have to go to work so that the looters, moochers, and baby killers can continue to redistribute the fruits of my labor......

Conservatives are the minority. The MSM and the lies are what won the election. When is the conservative movement going to get a basic free television station?

What we need to do is demonstrate that the new 53% of the electorate is not going to be able to feed off the rest of us producers without significant cost. How to do that is the real question, though. For me it would mean chucking a good job and significant revenues. But if I don’t, then aren’t I just succumbing to blackmail? I either continue generating income and handing over approx 50% of it to the moochers, or else stop producing and join the others on the welfare line, and fail my family. FU, Obama voters. I have a feeling this is not going to end well at all....
While I sympathize with the heartbreak over the loss, it was probably too late anyway. I’m somewhat relieved that Romney didn’t inherit a mess he couldn’t have cleaned up and would have ultimately gotten hung around the neck of his administration.
We really do have to hit bottom before we pull out of this. Rather it happen on the Democrats’ watch.

While I'm fearful of what's going to transpire in the months or weeks ahead, and we'll never know for sure, a Romney victory tonight might have eliminated Conservatism for good. I'm in the minority I'm sure, but even though I ended up voting for the guy, I still believe he wasn't our friend, just a little less bad than the other choice.
Now the question becomes, is our ideology still prevalent enough to fight whats coming with tonight's results?
I didnt start crying til I heard Romney speak..thats when it hit me, that America died tonight..even when I heard that Obama won it didnt sink in, but when I saw Romney speak, and seeing his beautiful wife Ann, who I know would have made such a wonderful first lady..it sunk in..America as we know it is finished..Socialism and Communism are the “new normal.” People want freebies instead of freedom. I didnt want to believe it til I see it with my own eyes, tonight I saw it..Our founding fathers are weeping tonight
