just stop....

Agreed, just stop this foolishness. How can you go back six years and blame it all on George W. Bush when in two election cycles, the party itself has done everything possible to lose?

They picked McCain in 2008 and undermined Sarah Palin who is the only reason McCain got any support at all. McCain did his part by spending the bulk of his campaign telling the voters how great a guy Obama is. We got Obama as a result.

This time around, the party knocked all the conservatives out of the way to pick Romeny, but then gave up on him and were already talking Jeb Bush in '16, when Romney smashed Obama in the first debate and made a bold move. Slowly but surely, though, they had him pull back and then the storm hit and there went RINO Chris Christie putting the final knives in our backs by making Obama look like The MAN. Never mind that The MAN watched Americans die in an attack and did nothing, and that his administration saw a storm coming and didn't have water for days or a plan to deal with it. The GOPe wanted to make sure they were working together across the aisle during a crisis. Costing the election was small potatoes against looking mean and partisan.

So cut the crap about Bush not dumping Cheney in 2006. He could have reanimated Ronald Reagan and it wouldn't have made any difference. Until you understand that the GOPe hates conservatives more than the RATS and will bend over backwards to play nice, you will continue to spout foolishness like this.
