Was it Mormonism, or was it the GOP-e/Romney largely ignoring the evangelicals/TEA Party?

If any Evangelicals - if anybody in America for that matter - refused to vote out the Obamanation because they were sidelined then they have only themselves to blame.

Not only now, but at their personal judgement.

Because if this is true, they have made the perfect the enemy of the good. They have accepted the plank in Obama’s eye because of the chip in Romney’s eye.

I hope to God this is not so. I hope to God that no voting bloc in America is waiting for Christ himself to stand for election, and won’t vote for anyone else. That would be bizarre quietism. That would be passive acceptance of evil.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. The GOP and the Romney campaign ignored evangelicals and took their vote for granted. "Where else can they go?" is the old refrain, and we found out last night: home.
