Dream on. Senate Conservatives were slaughtered. Liberal agendas (gay marriage, etc.) passing in 3 states. Comparing the raw vote numbers then and now means nothing. The GOP firewall in the House will only last another 4-6 years. After that it’s a functioning one party (Dem) system.
The House Republicans need to recognize this and allow the fiscal cliff to happen. The country that will emerge from the rubble will be better and stronger than what will happen otherwise. Just like GM would have been.
And at the end of the day. Obama’s still in the White House and Reid still controls the Senate. The country is gone. The popular vote and the Electoral vote say so.
