No, I dont want the government in my life. At least as little as possible. I dont want anything the government is selling. No medicare, and if possible I dont want ss. I am slowly diminishing my need for an income above the poverty level, and I am going to live small but free.

We decided to do that years ago. We've been "off the grid" for awhile, though we keep access to all the fun stuff as long as we can afford it.
We saw how well the freeloaders were living on our money, so we decided to stop giving it to them. We deliberately keep our income below the legal poverty limit to avoid the taxes.

If the scrounges want free stuff for doing nothing, they're going to have to look somewhere else. They're not going to get a penny from us - Not if we can help it!

I think the key to our comfortable lifestyle is growing our own food. That almost eliminates a grocery bill (though sometimes we need a few things. I cook from scratch, so not much). We chop wood, so we have no heating bill. We have a lot on nonelectric gadgets, so electric use is low.

We do what we can "to help".

I dont want the government in my life either.
The object right now is to “bleed” them by using medicare to the max,and taking Social Security.
Diminishing your need for income is counter productive. You need to BLEED the system so that NONE of us ever needs to depend upon them every again.

Then You Can TRULY live free.
