Mandating that citizens buy a government issued picture ID is no better than mandating that they buy health insurance. Our Founding Fathers would not approve. There are better ways to prevent voter fraud:

First, take a thumbprint of each voter right beside his signature on the voter roll.

Second, make and keep a video record of the entrance and exit doors.

No fuss, no muss, no lawsuits!
