Prediction: Obama and Democrat Party will seek to have the Presidential 2-term limit law changed to enable him to remain in office. Wanted to be the first to predict that here.
Even if they wanted to do this, I find it hard to believe that they'd be willing to spend the time and effort to get the amendment changed. Heck -- even a lot of Democrats with political aspirations would be dead-set against this.
Won’t this require an amendment to the Constitution? I just can’t see enough senators or governors that would touch this. I can’t see the populace putting up with such a move.
They already figured out how to rig the elections
easy when you are allowed to get away with 141% turnouts, just program the machines with what you need
That is not just a law to be repealed, it’s the 22nd Ammendment.
the machines will spit out whatever vote is needed to pass it, like the 141% turnout in St. Lucie County Florida
They aren’t being chllenged now, the next election will have 10x worse fraud
I would think even the Demoncrats would be against this due to their own egotistical aspirations.
Probably already plotting how to get it done.
2/3 of House, 2/3 of Senate, and 3/4ths of the State Legislatures would need to agree to this by Constitutional amendment.
Maybe a totally packed Supreme Court could convince everyone that the 22nd Amendment was null and void because of umbras and penumbras and references to Scottish Law but I doubt it.
If you look up the bill histories of each Congress, you’ll see that frequently this is proposed right off. Lieberman D-Ct proposed such an amendment right after he got through defending Billy Clinton.
I would live to be a fly on the Clinton’s wall if he tries.
Where was there 141% turnout?
Sorry, on the Clinton’s wall. Lol
141% turnout even 160% turnout.
Some are too quick to conclude this man legally won
Or just ignore the Constitution like usual. The Supreme Court will rubberstamp it by saying that the matter was non-judicable and something for Congress to enforce.
Maybe not if he can take control of the court, which is very possible considering the age of the justices. He could make the argument that the amendment was unconstitutional and his court would agree thus nullifying the amendment. Who is going to argue with a 6-3 or 7-2 decision?
Michelle obama has already said it. She mentioned their “first 10 years” in office in 2008. I haven’t been able to find record of it, but I’ve never forgotten it.
St. Lucie County Florida. No precinct had less than 113%.
One precinct had 1,028 votes for O and 7 for Romney... none of the 1,028 “voters” voted in any other race.
Ballots were also stuffed (or other things) in those 25 polling places where the GOP observers were kicked out, surprising huh?, also similar iregularities in Cleveland.
There were also about 10 counties in Colorado with 100+% turnout.
I think I know what the Census being transferred to the White House was used for. They literally engineered votes.
I’m looking for the turnout data, that shows this. Where and how do you know? Not bashing you I just need to know where to look.
A Constitutional Amendment that was passed cannot be unconstitutional
Big problem with your prediction...
By the time a law, or better yet, a constitutional amendment gets passed to allow a president to run for more than 2 terms, the next election season will be upon us, and chances are that, a republican could get elected instead of Obama, and the democrats would be having all kinds of regrets after having that amendment passed which could get a republican installed in the presidency for for 20 years or more.
Can anyone doubt that, someone like Reagan couldn’t get elected for 20 or 30 years? That would be the biggest nightmare for any democrat. They’d be looking for repeal of the law or the amendment, as soon as any republican got elected and was deemed electable for a lengthy period of time.
So, my prediction: Ain’t gonna happen!
I said it many times ,Obama is staying for life ,then it gets turned over to the wife or the kids
There's a reason why the U.S. Constitution has only been amended 27 times. It's more complicated than just setting up voting machines and rigging a vote.
The last (27th) Amendment was ratified in 1992. It was originally drafted in 1789. That's right -- it took 203 years for enough states to ratify it to make it formally adopted. Before that, the 26th Amendment was ratified in 1971 -- 21 years earlier. Amendments are often drafted decades before they're ratified and formally incorporated into the Constitution.
You don't just go out and propose an amendment and have people vote on it next week. Once a proposed amendment is drafted it has to get ratified by something like 75% of the state legislatures in the U.S. That's 38 states, by my count. Barack Obama won 26 states. Please list the 12 states that Romney won in 2012 that will decide to approve such an idiotic amendment to the Constitution by 2016.
P.S. The last time the Democrats even won as many as 38 states in a presidential election was 1964.
They are looking this over in other threads:
Regarding the recent Florida election
In Florida: Obama Got Over 99% in Broward County Precincts
When have the Democrats ever given a damn about the Constitution
does the Constitution only apply to American citizens, you know what I’m talking about here LOL
It won’t matter how people vote, the outcome will be determined by the White Hut. Votes will be ignored by the machines and many fake votes engineered.
It will be much worse than this time. The GOP won’t complain or fight.
remember, President Reagan says that after leaving office he ‘’would like to start a movement’’ to repeal the constitutional amendment that limits Presidents to two terms.
Mr. Reagan, in a restatement of a past position, said the limitation interfered with the right of the people to ‘’vote for someone as often as they want to do.’’
Personally, I don’t know. it is only good if it benefits us.
One of the reasons bureacratic crap is allowed to take root is that nobody stands up to it. Even minimal resistance would send a lot of these jack@sses scurrying for cover. Just look at how chaotic things have gotten in the New York City area in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. "Big Brother" can't possibly maintain control of things once people begin to realize that there is no effective law enforcement mechanism in place and they have to take matters into their own hands.
I'll use the health care mandate provision of Obamacare as another case in point. Do you think any of those Occupy Wall Street protesters who have been unemployed for the last four years -- most of whom probably voted for Obama -- are ever going to buy a medical insurance policy as required by law? Do you think any of them are going to pay a $2,000 fine for not having a policy in place? Forget that ... How many of them do you think will even file a tax return in 2013 at all?
Thanks got it, good research GeronL
oh and I also think the liberaltarians will endorse repealing the amendment. They have always been the natural enemies of traditional conservatives
Thank you!! All this talk as though the system is still there in any semblance, no matter how f'ed up it was, as it was prior to 2008. It's gone, people. Gone. Nothing remains but the illusion that things are still functioning as they were. I know it's hard to digest but it is, what it is. All evidence points to it. You can hang your hat on Marco Rubio saving the day in 2016 but it'll be Groundhog Day with it all coming down to Ohio and Florida...and they'll blatantly steal it again. But don't worry, they'll let the GOP win a few seats here and there to give the illusion that everything is humming along just as intended some 200 years ago.
The sad thing is that the GOP is allowing the vote fraud and election stealing to stand. I think we already have a one-party state with a puppet opposition, the GOP seems to want to prove it.
You may be the first to predict it here, but I read Porter Stansberry say it a week or more before the election and I have been suggesting this to friends ever since.
I’d say odds are 90% he’ll go for it.
I asked one Freeper whose views I share but who didn’t vote for Romney because he was too liberal, “What if you’d known in advance that O was going to seize power for 12 years? Would you have voted for Romney?” He said yes.
Many who didn’t vote for Romney may end up regretting it, I am quite certain of that.
Put your seatbelts on, friends.
And draw close to God....the shaking is just beginning......
The GOP are the Washington Generals of politics.
It was rigged. It didn’t matter how many people turned out and voted for Romney. Votes were be discarded and created from thin air to get Obama the results he wanted.
We need to go back to paper ballots and hand counts. Badly.
Otherwise, there are no real elections. This one was blatantly stolen.
Never happen. The red states can prevent it. If they stay red.
They didn’t have to figure out how to rig the election, they are from Shitcago, it is second nature.
Ever make you wonder why they didn’t really fight back over ACORN very much? Maybe was good for 2008, and a good diverionary tactic to keep our eyes away from the 2012 “magic”.
very good. Very accurate.

They will get the result they want in enough states, they fixed this election they can fix the next one 10x worse. The GOP won’t complain.
In regard to all the posts here about how O can’t pull this off, the 22nd Amendment, etc......
Obama is the lawless one. He is above and beyond law, law does not apply to him or anything he wants to do. How many times has he already demonstrated this?
He will find a way.
Yeah, I’m sure Obama has tons of support among libertarians. /sarcasm off/
