Vanity: War of Words Between Obama and Lindsay Graham

Posted on 11/14/2012 6:27:41 PM PST by ConservativeMan55

Whatever many Freepers think about Lindsay Graham.. he certainly is not letting Benghazi go.

Whatever his motives, he IS keeping it in the news. And if Graham hadn't kept this going then I'm not sure Obama would have gotten ANY questions on Benghazi today.

Look for him to raise a big stink when Obama attempts to nominate Susan Rice for Secretary of State....

I think it's a mistake for O to start a war of words with Graham. As it will only keep Benghazi on the minds of the public.

But Obama's ego won't let it go. This could get interesting.

I doubt Obama will nominate Susan Rice. She would have to go to the
Senate for a hearing. The GOP will eat her alive on questions about
Benghizi.

I think he WILL nominate her.

Why else would he get SO upset by the question today. And if you notice at the end of his answer he basically says he’ll nominate her.

Where was all this “fight” when it could have done something?

Trust me on this— Lindsay Graham has perfected schizophrenia, capably flying banners and feathers for the Republic, like nobody else can, right before he gives it all back to the democrats somehow, giving up enough ground to the Marxists that even Moscow could plant a flag.
This happen with the regularity of deer season.

Yes, he is articulate, but he’s so in with the socialist wing of the party leadership that no one else can get out front. Ayotte is all in with this liberal cabal but speaks 10 paces behind, serving as the token woman. The seniority forces us to hear from the players and not from the conservatives in the Republican Party.

Today, at his press conf. Benghazi-Coward Obama used the phrase “umbrella group in Syria,” and added that some militant groups have joined this umbrella group.

Benghazi-Coward Obama admitted to providing “humanitarian aid” to this umbrella group, but nothing about arms, as I remember.

Any FReeper out there that heard what I did?

He was able to get FBI access to the terrorist held in Tunisia that the administration was NOT able to do!!!

Barry Soetoro’s remark at the press conference aimed at Graham sounded very, VERY threatening, so he better watch his back carefully. Breitbarted???

I watched a few news reports last night, including on FOX, and nobody reported Graham's response back to the President...

Mr. President, don’t think for one minute I don’t hold you ultimately responsible for Benghazi. I think you failed as Commander in Chief before, during, and after the attack.

“We owe it to the American people and the victims of this attack to have full, fair hearings and accountability be assigned where appropriate. Given what I know now, I have no intention of promoting anyone who is up to their eyeballs in the Benghazi debacle.” -Lindsey Graham

Here's to keeping up the hope that one day Charlie Brown actually gets to kick that football...

It would be nice if Graham had said this BEFORE the election. Romney and the GOP let a winning issue slip through their fingers because they wanted people to think they were nice guys. BS. Obama was a scumbag and the GOP needed to make people fear him. Instead we heard crap like “I may disagree with the President’s approach to the issues, but I know he loves his country and is a patriotic American”, or words to that effect. Time to take the gloves off.
