We’ve had a female orange tabby for 10 years. When we see a new vet we hear, “Oh, female orange tabbies are very rare!” She’s a sweetie and her name is Ginger.

We have seven indoor cats, with two neutered males. The “alpha” of the two is a major caretaker. He bathes all of them, although some aren’t always receptive. His focus is on etiquette in the litter boxes. He’ll supervise the “business” and check to be sure everything is covered properly.

Funny. We had a female orange tabby named Ginger. Psycho vomit monster. Win a few, lose a few, huh?
