Newspaper exegesis is the comic section of the theological newspaper.
Almost feels like sitting on the couch with Jason don't it?
YEp - great thread!
So how’s your Sunday funnies? LOL
Mel
Today's thread was highly entertaining.
“A war has started and Middle Eastern leaders are now attempting to craft some sort of cease fire.”
Muzzies usually do this when they are losing or are trying to re-group for another attack. Israel is on to them.
I’m so glad you brought up the topic of Biblical prophesy and current events! I’ve been trying to jog my memory to remember some of the prophecies I studied several years ago. Is there a way to start an ongoing permanent thread so those of us who are interested can read each others comments as these events unfold in the coming months? I really appreciate the insights everyone is sharing here.
It doesnt have to be it is so obvious and folks should not be looking for signs of America in the word either. That was not the perspective. Did you see the recent article in WND about the 12th century rabbi who predicted how many jubilees it would be until Israel came back to their land and then when the Messiah would come. He was correct on the first prediction on the return of Israel and he says the end of the tenth jubilee will bring the return of the Messiah. That jubilee ends on 2017. It was very interesting. This war is a sign of the impending times.
Probably but I generally avoid the Catholic threads.
We are seeing precursors to the Psalm 83 War.
Please refer to the article below for a thorough analysis.

Blessings.
No doubt.
We're in deep doo-doo...
Thankfully the King of Kings is COMING BACK, “soon and very soon.”
But in the end, the MB will be distroy by the Lord God who forever has Israel’s back.
The Day of the Lord
5 "But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say, Peace and safety! then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. 8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. 9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
11 Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing."
