Me thinks that since this guy is so opposed to doing something difficult and painful like
working that he will find starving difficult and painful as well. So he will likely punk out on the hunger strike. I work in a prison and see hunger strikes threatened literally all the time. Average length of hunger strike: the time between one meal being served and the next one.

Oh, but I thought starvation was supposed to be a humane, peaceful death. Isn’t that what Terri Schaivo would say, if she could?
