I'm done with the Republican Party and even conservative talk radio, for now.

I'm with ya - I watched Fox and listened to Rush and Hannity for a couple of days after the election and realized it's all just entertainment / political theatre and thats about it. There's no fighting back, no challenging of the straw men or positions on the Sunday shows by those who constantly are invited back to appear, no balls or conviction, just entertainment.

Say one thing about the Libtards like Special Ed, Madcow, and the Rev - they know how to forcefully defend their positions, no matter how wrong they are. And, they're not afraid to offend the other side - until I see the same conviction and fortitude in the "entertainment conservatives" - I'm done with them and will catch up with past episodes of The Office and Seinfeld.

I used to go out of the way to listen to Rush.
When he first went National, he was a fire breather, looking for change.
I think he first ‘changed’ when he got married(Marta?) - some of the fire seemed to be missing after that and I lost a lot of ‘respect’ for him over the oxy thing....
Not that he was ‘human’ and could get caught up in it but when he wasn’t ‘pushing R values’ he managed to spend a lot of time on Strawberry and Steve Howe’s case ....

Never did like Hannity - too wrapped up in the Colmes thing, then he came across as ‘smarmy’....Wouldn’t walk across the street to see O’Reilly in person much less dial him up or get up and change channels.
Didn’t trust Morris from the gitgo...these R’s/RINO’s...think it is a ‘victory’ when people like Morris blow smoke up where the sun don’t shine - Could only imagine the ‘fawning’ if Carvell would ‘supposedly’ turn.

Never was really much of a Coulter fan - didn’t really think a ‘good’ conservative would be all that impressed with the likes of Torrecelli etc...
