When one of my daughters was in the womb I was told by a ‘specialist’ that there was a much greater than 50% chance that she would be ‘severely mentally retarded.’ Now she is 2 and healthy and I am convinced that she is already smarter than I’ll ever be. For that I am eternally thankful.
