Happy Thanks Giving to you too.
With a few days off I'm putting up seed packets from seed stock that I dried in the coldframe and getting little pots ready for starting this springs crop in the green house.
Buttercrunch lettuce is thick and tall in the garden and the kale, cabbage, turnips, carrots are almost there.
Save your own seeds!

I have just been putting up some dried herbs in jars today too. I have quite a few seeds from 2011 harvest. This year’s crop was pitiful, so didn’t get too many seeds.

I'm on year 5 of my adapted jalapenos. I pulled the plants the other day and hung them to prep for seed.
The nice part of saving seed is that you can shape the characteristics of the plants.
