I’m not gloomy.
Everyone else just suffers from ragin normalcy bias.
A++++ you home from Texas yet truthy?
well i hope that no one is dieting after Tgiving, because we have three birthdays this week, and there will be cakes.
What, do you hunt at a trot?
I hunt on foot!
So a tantivy would be out of the question, as I must be vewy vewy qwiet!
Still in Dallas area. Weather is fabulous. There is a 55 and older retirement community that is a mile and a half from Truth’sOldestSon’s house. I’ve been getting a little pressure from him to check it out, which has forced me into declaring that I love New Jersey— for the brutal winters, traffic, and high taxes. Pretty soon, I’m going to have to hire Jay Carney to lie for me. We return on Wednesday.
OMG i would LOVE to move to Dallas! you guys should do it! and if it secedes, all the better!
We are enjoying the weather too. Our daughter and her husband recently adopted a rescued dog so they are getting to enjoy the great outdoors more than they have in the past. lol They keep commenting on how nice it is to have warm days, cool nights and very little wind.
Hey, you don’t have to pump gas!
Can you imagine? Well the two bammer appointed aren’t really women are they?
WINOs, LOL!!!
Actually, Truth’sBabyGirl, who lives in Brooklyn, had started the ball rolling. After Sandy, she asked, “Why don’t we all just move to Texas?” She was tempted by the very reasonable housing costs in Texas compared to New York City. Truth’sSecondSon just got a big promotion in NYC, and he’s not going anywhere. If my daughter and her family move, it would put 5 grand kids in Texas vs. 3 in NJ, and I’d be tempted. She’s exploring jobs in Texas, but it is very preliminary.
NJ does not even allow you to pump your own gas. It is one of the good things about the state. The best thing is the vast number of BYOB restaurants. We eat out about twice a week, and bring a 10 or 15 dollar bottle of wine, which would cost 35 or so if the restaurant sold it. That saves around two grand a year.
Apparently you can’t do something tentatively tantivy...
it would be terribly tacky to attempt.
A+++ btw
