Subprime Mortgages---vote-crazed politicians catering to voting blocs collapsed the US economy. Risky loans were given to people with shaky credit---financial catastrophe ensued. WHOA!!!!....THIS IN TIME?.......ACTUAL TRUTH??????.....WHY ISN'T IT ON THEIR FRONT DAMN PAGE?.......

I love that cartoon where Clippy interprets a Word document that starts (something like...) “I can’t take it any more...” Then Clippy concludes, “I see you’re writing a suicide note. Please choose your method: rope, gun, overdose...”

Good grief... There are STILL alegedly intelligent people who believe DDT -- 14th on the list -- is a BAD THING!? The power to eradicate malaria is a BAD THING?? I guess that just demonstrates the power of leftist propaganda.
Rachel Carson and her baseless dogma is responsible for the deaths of more people than Hitler and his baseless dogma.

I found it to be somewhat interesting until the list included DDT, which is pure slander. DDT was a godsend, and claiming it was a worst invention by any measure is utter BS.

Betamax Actually Betamax was a great invention, superior to VHS in almost every way. What killed it was Sony's legal and marketing strategy that made it cost prohibitive for studios and the fledgling tape rental market to use, thus forcing them into the VHS standard.

Agent Orange never hurt anybody.
Ford Pinto was a cost effective car.
Tanning beds give a tan for lower health risk than the sun.
Plastic grocery bags save resources (money, especially).
Pay toilets are a free market device that help ensure that there is a (clean) toilet when you need one. The alternative is usually no toilet.
Crocs are perfectly good, but the catty snobs think they’re ugly.
