The true story about sea level rise can be seen by simply peering at the data... Here is my go-to source: http://sealevel.colorado.edu/ ... their latest graph of sea level suggests that roundabouts 2005, the rate of rise decreased from over 3.5mm/yr to under 2.5mm/yr:

Excellent graph! Thanks! A linear regression fit to the data leaves room for a curvalinear fit to the 60-day smoothing curve with changes in slope at 1996, and 2006.
