My family is solidly middle class, and we feel like we're struggling. We've cut back in quite a few areas, because times are tough and no one knows the future.

We know quite a few people with incomes significantly lower than ours -- and those poor people all seem to live a lot better than we do: better vacations, better cars, more gadgets.

America! What a country!

oh absolutely....look at people's food carts.....here we buy the basics on sale, and some just come and buy tiny sizes of name brand stuff that you know is a lot more expensive than store brand.....

but why would these graphics upset anyone?......deep down there are so many Americans who look at work as a joke.....why not stop working and enjoy your home and your family....have USam pay you unemployment for 3 yrs and then apply for disability....

believe me, my sil/bil have done very very well on their various "disabilities"......sports cars, extra houses, property, truck, suv, etc etc.....

workers are getting the finger good and hard...

The sad reality is they are trying to eliminate any difference between the producers and the Looter-Moocher classes Ayn Rand described.

The only discernible difference is our poor are far more likely to become overweight while on the public dole.... That’s a fact!

I cannot imagine being unable to pay for my own food, much less expect someone else to purchase it for me, rent, utilities, EBT, phones.... We’re being plundered!

It would be my guess they are unlikely saving anything substantial for retirement.

Depends on some factors -- you may have more people in your family, you may be supporting more charities, more people (extended relations etc.)

And, you most likely have proper fiscal sense -- saving money, not living on credit

The people you mention may be blowing away their money and living on credit
