” Looks like they took their ball and went home.”

Nah...they finally came back with, what I assume was their “best shot”, pathetic and clueless as it was.

"...once latched on, he tucks his forelegs under his chest as he dead-drops his weight from whatever’s in his jaws."

I take it then that he has those dreaded "Doberman Latching Jaws."

(Latchjaw for those of you in Rio Linda.)

LOL.

If somebody doesn’t snap up “Latchjaw” as a metal band name, I’ll be sorely disappointed.

Dobes are funny dogs.

They ‘bite and bob’ which makes it really hard to fight them off.

They rush in, nail you and instantly bounce back out of reach only to rush in again from a different direction.

Lather, rinse, repeat until the target falls to the ground.

Then they ‘latch’.

It’s kind of efficient, really.

In a match up between you and ‘the worthless piece of catmeat’, I’m betting heavily on the the catmeat. Your ignorance astonishes me.

took one down, big one, which had a child in its jaws...Suring, Wisconsin, in the 1960's. Got a choke hold on the catmeat and didn't let go until the piece of garbage was stone dead....still correspond with the dog's intended victim!!!....people 1...catmeat 0

skeptical dobe...try me.

I admit that I had no idea of what I was doing...dog shaking child...I was 6' 170# and very angry. I jumped on the dog's back and took him to the ground (toothpick legs) I put my left forearm under his neck and squeezed a lot, for a long time, other people gathered around but I didn't let go 'till the beast was no more.

I do not, nor ever have, feared nor shown fear for a dog....I think that they recognize that and act accordingly. I feel that my brain and my physical size (now well over 200#) make me more than equal to the average dog.

The Dobes are too busy laughing their asses off to feel “disapproval”.

She’s a cutie. Won’t be long before she’s giving Odhinn a run for his money.

(I know, I know, as soon as he sees this, my post will be deleted for not being “Doberman-approved”.)

She was just giving him a run.

He was all “Me Alpha! Grrrr! Snarl! Snap!” and she backs off briefly and comes right back up at him.

[She weighs all of 14 pounds and is ~maybe~ 18” tall to the top of her head while he’s 100 lbs and 31” a the *shoulder*]

When she hits 80 lbs or so, he’s gonna have to mind his manners.

Males won’t bite females...but females offer no such courtesy.

She’s gonna be one wicked like Valkyrie.

:)

[if he knew I’d just told the whole world that, *I’d* be getting the Doberman Disapproval, big time]

So shhhhhh.....:-#

I won’t breathe a word, but you never know if Halla was reading over your shoulder.

Freeper dogs are SMART (and sneaky).
