During halftime of the Eagles/Cowboys game, Bob Costas read part of an article, by someone, about the problem of our nations "gun culture".
I expect NBC to be wrong, all the time, but I was actually shocked to see them get all political during halftime of my Cowboys game. What asshats...
He could have beaten her to death. Easily.
The logic was if Belcher didn’t have a gun they’d both be alive today.
How about this: If Belcher wasn’t on pills and alcohol they’d both be alive today!??
Moral of the story, don’t watch NFL... Waste of time...
Costas’s assertions were incorrect.

The core problem is the complete loss of personal intellectual responsibility among the supposedly civilized citizens of the populace.
NBC Sports email is nbcsportshelp@nbcuni.com . My comment to this inbox is as follows:
Hello, NBC Sports. I was watching the NBC Football halftime report tonight. I am disgusted by Bob Costas
attempt to pin Kansas City Chiefs murder-suicide on what he termed the “Gun Culture” in this country. I resent
that Mr. Costas has chosen to take avantage of a terrible event to push his Anti-American agenda.
In my book, Mr. Costas, you deserve to be shamed for promoting his hatred of a fundamental right of all law-abiding
Americans, the right to possess firearms. I pray that you would come to see how you are performing the role
of “use-ful idiot” in support of the crowd who would take away our right to defend ourselves in order that tyranny
may flourish.
Or perhaps it is just time to leave my country for another country of your choosing, such as Cuba, North Korea, et al,
where you will be ‘safe’ from an armed citizenry.
It has been years since I’ve watched anything on NBC and almost as long since I’ve watched an B
NFL game. The NFL brand is doomed if they allow this kind of thing during their games.
That's it for me. I will no longer watch Sunday Night Football. To Hell with them!
The logic is so dumb. If there weren’t knives I guess Jeffrey Dahmer wouldn’t have killed??
It’s to the point I think we should start absurd movements just to show how dumb their logic is.
I say we push to ban kitchen knives and cleavers!
(Just like with wealth redistribution we should push for academic performance redistribution at elite universities. Make these people live by their own rules.)
Thanks for the email....I also emailed them.
Does Bob Costas have private security for himself and his family? Is it armed security?
Well you knew it was coming. In the aftermath of the nearly unfathomable events in Kansas City, that most mindless of sports clichés was heard yet again: Something like this really puts it all in perspective.
Well, if so, that sort of perspective has a very short shelf life. Since we will inevitably learn about the perspective we have supposedly again regained the next time ugly reality intrudes upon our games.
Please. Those that need tragedies to continually recalibrate their sense of proportions about sports would seem to have little hope of ever truly achieving perspective. You want some actual perspective on this? Well, a bit of it comes from the Kansas City based writer Jason Whitlock, with whom I do not always agree, but who today said it so well, that we may as well just quote, or paraphrase, from the end of his article:
Our current gun culture, Whitlock wrote, ensures that more and more domestic disputes will end in the ultimate tragedy, and that more convenience-store confrontations over loud music coming from a car will leave more teenage boys bloodied and dead Handguns do not enhance our safety. They exacerbate our flaws, tempt us to escalate arguments, and bait us into embracing confrontation rather than avoiding it.
In the coming days, Jovan Belchers actions and their possible connections to football will be analyzed. “Who knows? But here, wrote Jason Whitlock, is what I believe: if Jovan Belcher didnt possess a gun, he and Kasandra Perkins would both be alive today.
The second half is next.

AND. affirmative action in football!!!
There ya go.
I think we should push for females to play in football if they want to.
We should also push for Communist pay in football. Brady and Manning can’t make anymore than that new rookie linebacker.etc.
I agree with Jason Whitlock. He is obviously talking about the utter lawlessness and violence in the black “community”. I support Whitlock’s call to take away 2nd Amendment Rights for African Americans.
