During halftime of the Eagles/Cowboys game, Bob Costas read part of an article, by someone, about the problem of our nations "gun culture".
I expect NBC to be wrong, all the time, but I was actually shocked to see them get all political during halftime of my Cowboys game. What asshats...
I shouted at the TV: Who gives a Shiite what you liberals think or do?
I thought Costas was a sports caster. Skeet, duck hunting, deer hunting, olympic target shooting - are all legitimate sports activities. Why not talk about domestic violence in rich sports people. Or Black on Black violence. Their agenda is transparent.
“If people like OJ didn’t own knives, then these things wouldn’t happen!” ~ said no newsman ever....
Blaming guns for violence is like blaming forks for obesity...
he, however, didn't mention the guy who invaded a college classroom, shot his own father in the head with an arrow, and then stabbed himself to death with a knife. I don't blame the gun, nor the arrow, nor the knife.
Roid rage comes to mind also. The NFL does a piss poor job of enforcing it’s PED rules. Everyone from running backs, linemen, linebackers are 90%+ dirty. You can blame this murder suicide on a lot of things, but the gun isn’t one of them
If the victim had a gun, that person would be alive today.
The inalienable right to defend oneself (lib lurkers, look up the true, exact meaning of "inalienable") is so important our founding fathers chose to include it specifically in the protections (ie. prohibitions of government intervention) afforded us in The Bill of Rights.
Video at link.
Just like liberals.
Same here. A bunch of idiot athletes that make MILLIONS of dollars to play.a.game. Disgraceful if you ask me. I refuse to watch any of it, or NBC for that matter.
The American Revolution began when the British tried to disarm the Colonists.
Fitting that it ends with the Colonists demanding to be disarmed.
From another angle,
Think anybody will comment on if the girlfriend had a gun for self defense?
And yeah, back to boycotting in the previous case, until the network removed Keith Obber-haedcase.
