LAFAYETTE, CO, December 4, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) Police are still trying to understand why a car ploughed through the front door of the Real Choices Crisis Pregnancy Center in Lafayette, Colorado, this past weekend. However, they suspect that the incident may have been an attempted burglary.
According to reports, someone drove a car all the way up to the receptionists desk at the center around 7:45 p.m. Sunday evening.
Director Janna DiGiacomo Maxwell said although the office had been rifled through, nothing appeared to have been taken and the computer files remained untouched.
A visitor at a nearby church saw the gaping hole in the front door, but authorities have not gotten a description of the car.
The center, which helps young women find alternatives to abortion, had just helped 75 families with Thanksgiving and Christmas needs. But it has needs of its own.
Were fighting like crazy just to keep our doors open for Boulder County, Maxwell told the Denver CBS station.
Some in the area have guessed the centers logo which features a blade of grass may have confused the perpetrator into thinking it was a marijuana dispensary, but they admit it is only a theory.
For now, the pressing need in Colorado is not more speculation but more money to help more women save their babies.
We need help, Maxwell said.
There have been a number of notable incidents of violence against pro-lifers around the nation in recent months.
Personhood USA Founder Keith Mason, his wife, and their children had their Denver home vandalized in July.
In April, a man with two hunting knives reportedly slashed a pro-life banner in front of Christian pro-life activists who were reading the Bible in front of Jackson Womens Health Organization in Mississippi.
Their organizer, Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas of Operation Save America, said most of the hostility or violence they encounter around the nation comes from those who have been involved in an abortion themselves. Instead of asking God to forgive them and heal them, they act in anger, and they lash out or in this case, slashed out.
A Catholic Relief Services employee, Charisse Espy Glassman, rammed her car into a crowd of pedestrians at the 2011 March for Life in Washington, D.C.

wacko left at it again ping.
Typical member of the Legion of the Damned.
Maybe he was hoping to kill a few babies.
“Maybe he already killed a few babies.”
