Great, thanks for the post! In the early 90’s there was a local radio station in Orange County (CA) that played these old radio shows. My favorite was listening to The Shadow programs (the Shadow knows).

One of my earliest memories is listening to The Lone Ranger and Gunsmoke on the radio, around 1956 or so. Thanks for the heads up.

Nice, but, it leaves out two of the greatest Radio shows.
The Goon Show, the funniest radio show ever, and, the CBS Radio Mystery theater.

I love OTR. Use to listen to it in the 80s as a kid from a local radio station. Now you can download podcasts to your iphone, which is awesome. So much free content. I love the old detective shows and science fiction. It really works your imagination.
