Boehner continues to truckle and do the WH bidding. This is a big mistake and should cost him his leadership role.

I was outraged at that.....(I keep my reading of the news to no more than an hour a day, quickly replaced with Christmas music to soothe my wounded soul) I knew Boehner was not to be trusted and that is the proof. A+++

DrK isn't truckling to anyone in his recommendations. We can only pray Boehner is replaced and sanity returns to the spineless GOP in the House.

Barack wants the right-wing to truckle
To bend over backwards and buckle
I tell them, “Stand firm”
Never bow to that worm
Don’t be the chin, be the knuckle

It would be nice if Santa needed to truckle his gifts down from the North Pole, but a few more years of democrat economics and he’ll be able to send them in a single letter.

62 and gloomy-I’ve been hiking through the fog...

Obama’s minions learn early
Exactly how best to truckle
In such a Chicago mob style
It has to make you chuckle

If Gotti or Giancana lived
And still were holding sway
This could not be more like
Things were in Nixon’s day

With enemies lists and threats
The whitehouse mafia so divine
Whips the new Haldemans and Liddys
Until they run to get in line...

Wasn’t there was another mobster that Nixon was very close to-Bebe Rebozo?

Most of the reindeer have already applied for unemployment benefits after being laid off for another season, a few got workers comp SIBS for leg injuries. Another bad year, and some of them will likely hire a lawyer and try to fake injuries for SSDI...

Did they have a come to Jesus moment?

No, they simply published somebody else's views on their cups. Their "The Way I See It" series (notice that this one is #92 which means that there are AT LEAST 91 other entries in the series) contains little statements of opinion from various people who have submitted them for publishing. That cup is a statement of the way Rick Warren sees it, and not at a a statement of how anyone at Starbucks sees it.

I apologize to all of you in class......I went shopping this morning then I went for an early lunch, took my tablet....when I turned it on it was on WwFs so I played all four games I have going with no problem....THEN when I tried to log on here, the internet went out. It said I was logged on to the Wifi where I was lunching, but it said no internet service. SO, I finished up lunch and continued Christmas shopping. I scored a pile of books at Ollie’s. All discounted CHEAP. Anyone else have an Ollie’s?

On a purely selfish note this isn’t good for my state, as we are going to get passed by IN and MI.

It is interesting insofar that the Washington Post refused to print it at the time it was written, saying that American women were too faint of heart to read the gory details in 1941. IOW, the main stream media was lying to us even then.

I found it to be well written — a cut above what we see in the newspaper these days. I wonder how it finally came to see the light of day in 2012?

We’ve had one for about a year, but I hadn’t been until my DH dragged me there. Children’s books are a bargain there, which is what I bought. I have 7 kiddies to buy for. Various ages and sex. I did good. The Story of Holly and Ivy for $2.24. Couldn’t resist that classic.

For $.99 I got a practice book for printing your letters. My 1st grader needs all the practice he can get. NY state curriculum has dropped teaching printing and cursive writing. The 2 boys cannot print anything I can read. Never mind the spelling....another thing that was dropped. Computers do it for you now, doncha know. RME
