I was walking to an interview when I was in college. Had on spike heels. One of them got stuck in the goo they use to seal the cracks in the asphalt. The tarry-black-goo was softened from the heat (and no doubt aided by the absorbed heat in the surrounding asphalt). Probably 150 degrees on the ground in the parking lot.
Mi Niditos in Tucson is by far our favorite Mexican restaurant.

The son lived a few miles north of Teresa’s Mosaic and we always stopped there and started with their cheese crisp.
My update will have to be by I-phone.
We unloaded, or Mayflower did, all day Saturday. We have a lot hobbies and crafts — lots of china and family keepsakes. I think it was close to a 26,000 lb move and we left a lot of furniture so we could still stay in the KC house when we visit during the update work prior to sale.
For those not familiar with moving rates the fed standard for a family of four is 18,000 lb — so this means we have a lot of books and stuff sane people don’t keep. We will probably be unpacking boxes when we buy our permanent retirement house.
I’m saving all these hundreds of boxes, that’s for damn sure. We went to services this morning at a church I had found three weeks ago and then went to buy a new vacuum and floor mops. The rest of the day was unpack and assemble the house. We got about 20 percent done. I think I will have time to sit and watch some Bowl games but not before.
