Ha ha!

I lived in Havasu when it hit 128 degrees in 1994.

Stepped outdoors only once to get the mail. I noticed the streets seemed to be melting.

A relative works the ADOT road crew on I-40. In the summer they go through a couple sets of boots. The asphalt literally melts the soles.

Then Imagine laying hot tar in July/Aug. And the boots are ALREADY melting BEFORE they start...
