1) Dancing Around the Festivus Pole
2) The Airing Of The Grievances
3) The Feats of Strength.

Festivus. The holiday for the rest of us.

>>”Think of how many people have died over the years to give us our freedoms,” Stevens said.

And so very, very few of them were liberal candy-asses who think they are striking a blow for freedom by making pole out of beer cans.

The pole, a reference to the Dec. 23 atheist "holiday" that became a pop culture hit after being featured in a "Seinfeld" episode

It isn't really an atheist holiday. It is mostly a joke people make when they are sick of all the Christmas specials, crazy lines at stores, and Christmas music every where.

“Stevens said he had been trying to get the city to remove the Nativity scene for five years, and this year he decided to ask for space to express his own beliefs.”

Way to be a little attention whore. You degrade an innocent Nativity scene and take the fun out of a classic TV episode by warping your militant atheistic nonsense all over it.

I just spent four hours tagging along with the GF shopping. I’m so disgusted with “Christmas” I could puke.

The best part of all of it was discovering a feral cat colony behind one of the stores.

Heretics! It's not a true Festivus pole.

Snip -

The holiday's celebration, as it was shown on Seinfeld, included an unadorned aluminum “Festivus pole”...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festivus

This one is just a stack of beer cans, not in the true spirit of Festivus. Even it's getting to commercialized.

These are his “own beliefs”.

It’s like saying that your girlfriend was someone you saw every week on television.

It’s that kind of a relationship.

He’s a bigot and needs to be branded as such.

The number one goal is to destroy America.

They knew that Americans are strong and independent-minded and that in order to destroy our nation, they must first destroy our culture.

Thus the “anti-establishment” movement.

This included an all out attack on the predominant religion in America: Christianity.

I don’t think they intended the irony but it is thick.

Well, now, doesn’t Jesus just pale in comparison to PBR? And the fellow had to place it nice and close to the Nativity to make it significant.

Isn’t that special.
