Should a conservative Congress oust Boehner over fiscal cliff talks?
The Washington Times ^ | December 10 | Henry D'Andrea

Speaker John Boehner's unwillingness to hold the line against President Obama's hypocritical approach to the fiscal cliff negotiations show it might be time for conservatives to take the speaker gavel away.

While there has been no real movement towards a fiscal cliff deal, Speaker Boehner did move to evict key conservatives from top budget committees for their dissent to his budget proposal.

After Reps. Justin Amash, Tim Huelskamp, David Schweikert, and Walter Jones were removed from their budget committees, conservatives lambasted Boehner and felt as though he was shutting them out of the fiscal cliff negotiations.

Those 31 members on the House Steering Committee that removed these conservative congressmen have yet to speak publicly about the ordeal, showing that Boehner doesn’t want the conservative voice anywhere near the potential fiscal cliff deal.

Yes! I sent a letter this morning to my Congressman (Tim Griffin) stating such.

As we type, the GOP is bleeding supporters. The longer Boehner grovels, the longer the bleeding will continue. Whether they like it or not, without a Conservative fire breather, they can kiss it all good-bye.

The GOP is dead to me. There is no longer any difference between the GOP elitist liberal SOB's and the Demonrats. I changed my voter registration already and will not support the GOP financially any longer. I'm voting third party next cycle. It is time for small gov't Libertarian Conservatives to rise up and go third party. I'm done with all of them!

Boner’s favorite negotiating position is on all fours with his fat ass propped up in the air. People outside the room can hear him moan, Thank You Sir May I Have Another. He is either a pillow biting wimp, a coward, democrat or all of the above.

Isn’t John the oldest of a dozen siblings? He should have developed better leadership skills than I’m seeing and I want a strong leader. If he can’t take the heat he better just resign from Congress. HJe is humiliating. Represent us with true leadership, some R Congressman, PLEASE!

I thought Fox put a limit on Rove and Dick Morris’s appearances after they were revealed to be blithering idiots. But there was Karl ‘Pillsbury Dough Boy’ Rove again last night on Special Report pontificating once again.

I switched from GOP to a registerd Conservative three years ago. If we had a legitimate Tea Party I might switch to that. But never GOP again. You could drop them into the jungle with all the equipment in the world and they’d try to make a deal with the lions and the snakes. Totally useless.

Oh yeah, definitely. All we need are 16 R’s to withhold approval.
