noun:
the study of numbers, such as the figures in a birth date, and of their supposed influence on human affairs
Etymology: Origin: 1911, "study of the occult meaning of numbers," a hybrid from L. numerus "number" + Gk. -logia, from logos "one who speaks (of a certain topic)." A correct formation would be arithmology, from Gk. arithmos "number."

Numerology is any study of the purported divine, mystical or other special relationship between a number and some coinciding observed (or perceived) events. It has many systems and traditions and beliefs. Numerology and numerological divination by systems such as isopsephy were popular among early mathematicians, such as Pythagoras, but are no longer considered part of mathematics and are regarded as pseudomathematics or pseudoscience by modern scientists
Today, numerology is often associated with the paranormal, alongside astrology and similar divinatory art.

I LOVE that. I’m knitting with alpaca now on a cap for my nephew and it’s my favorite fiber. It’s soft, light, and surprisingly warm for the loft.
I should add that since Obama doesn't really know where, or when, he was born -- numerology is no help figuring out what he's going to do next.

i was being very laid back but it sounds like a ton of people are coming and so now i am starting to freak about not having enough food. i always have a TON left over, but there was that time that xshub ordered only 2 medium pizzas for 15 little boys for xsboy’s bday party at a paintball park. the dominos guy had to drive to this paintball park and it wasn’t like we could order more. i was horrified and still have nightmares about that, it was GROSSLY insufficient, and IMO it’s a fate worse than death to not have enough food for a party.
