"I don't like the religion part. I think religion is what mucks the whole thing up....I think that's what makes the holidays so stressful."

ABC = Always Broadcasting Cr*p !
CBS = Cr*p Broadcasting system
How do you answer such dazzling brilliance?
LOL
I really shake my head and marvel at the many people know whobare looking for reasons to ignore God and even trying to rationalize denying God’s existence.
I think much of it has to do with self absolution.
If there is no God, by their mere proclamation, then their conscience is cleared by self absorbed lack of responsibility.
No God, no morale absolutes, just relativism and objectifying others.
Yuh can’t fix it either...
I think, for this Snyderman gal, the devil already did. And the souls of most of those who want to keep Christ out of Christmas.
Comcast is paying these people.
The only reason for Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Sort of makes it hard to take the religion out of it.
As for shopping/buying things we do that round the clock all year. Nothing special about that
>> What is happening to us?
The Left is redefining corporate America. If it really matters, Comcast customers can dump their cable/fiber subscriptions and get a sat subscription, thereby sending a message this nonsense will not be patronized.
Of the 60 million that voted R, there are probably 15 million willing to participate in a legitimate, coordinated economic message of sorts.
No, the stressful part is that your extended family expects a complete Christmas dinner, presents, a spotless house to cone to, homemade cookies and fudge, etc ... Which I really don’t mind doing but it is stressful!
The calming part is the real reason for Christmas— celebrating the birth of Jesus and reflecting at Mass on how I can be a better person in the new year.
Merry Post-Holiday Shopping Season!
He just wants to count or something.
Hey Nancy!
I’m pretty sure it’s the materialism that introduces the stress component.
The “religion” part of it, is only stressful if you’re afraid to be confronted with the light of truth.
I think mine already did.
Yes... That stressful time of the Christmas season when we go to Mass, or church services, and listen to how God sent his only begotten son down to redeem this world. The stress of those moments that sifts into our daily lives and helps make sense out of why we are here.
I pity the poor creature who just doesn't see that part of life. No wonder they can't make the connection. As St. Ignatius of Loyola reminds us, "Our only desire and our one choice should be this: I want and I choose what better leads to God's deepening His life in me."
Premiere Nikita Kruschef (sp) predicted this in the 50s. He knew we were being infiltrated.
How did Archy Bunker, Jr. make it out of podunk and through medical school? “Them Christians can have their lights, but shut up about Jesus!” What an uncultured animal.
He probably kills Christians under his care when he catches them praying. “You can be a Christian, but don’t pray!” Which probably explains why he moved to tee vee with the other narrow minded liberal snorting rats. It’s a little hard to practice medicine when you are an ignornat podunk.
Incredible ignorance. This poor woman is blind.
