Vanity: Need some technical help (Facebook Fan Pages)

Posted on 12/12/2012 8:55:30 PM PST by ConservativeMan55

I'm trying to add a facebook fan page feed to my website.

You can go here:

http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like-box/

And paste the URL of the site in the box and it'll give you a preview. Most Facebook Fan pages work great. But mine refuses to show the activity stream. It's just a blank white box.

I've read something about facebook migrating fan pages so the like box will work. But it's mostly over my head. I know HTML but not very much beyond that.

If anyone can help that would be great please! Thanks!

Thank you! I will check it out!

I know how to embed the code into the page. But there is something wrong with my fan page compared to others.. a setting.. or something to cause its activity stream not to show up.. while the others do.

In my experience, when plug ins don’t work, I enlarge the size of the box to be oversized and well away from the edges of the page. Typically, it works at that point and then I begin to pare it down and realign it. Takes some testing. Anyway, might be a sizing issue.
