Not odd if you were a progressive who had just spent 4 years screaming about how GWB failed in Iraq. That was the problem. We needed to handle Syria exactly how we handled Iraq, but the progressives had painted themselves into the Bush Lied People Died corner. So instead of Bush Lied and People Died, we now have the newer hope and change version, Obama Lied and Entire Countries Died.
