Tried to send the following to the NRA:

Simple question: why aren't you running short late night ads on TV that make simple irrefutable points? Example: “With just one single exception, the attack on congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords in Tucson in 2011, every public shooting since at least 1950 in the U.S. in which more than three people have been killed has taken place where citizens are not allowed to carry guns." (Source: Lott interview). Just that text in white on a black background for 15 seconds, maybe with a zoom/fade effect.
Those ads would be cheap and much more effective than the echo chamber eflorts you spend far too much money on.

PS I have literally dozens of these types of quotes, all fact based. I am sure you do, too.

Why aren’t the republicans making htese points? They shoudl have immediately come out and said that there were already thousands of gun laws o nthe books, but that this CRIMINAL MASS MURDERER IGNORED thsoe laws, and that if security guards were allowed ot carry on campus, then that punk woudl have been shot dead before inflicting so much damage-
Where are the republicans calling for calm and callign for the left to stop their knee jerk reactiosn? All we hear abotu in the news is that guns shoudl be outlawed- banned- every day all day- where are the reports shwoing that havign armed security guards greatly reduces the risk of these types of incidents? We are facing a stark reality. In the very near future this administration is going to launch an all out offensive against us. I have no doubt that as I writw this there is group of leftist fanatics planning a policy and PR offensive. With that in mind we are going to need all hands on deck. NRA, GOA, and anyone else should forget the infighting until our common enemy is beaten.
Yup, pretty much, but toned down a bit. The idea is to repeatedly expose late night viewers to the facts in a quiet manner. They’ll pick up on those facts without even realizing it...
I fully agree, but I am concerned that certain personalities within the groups will put their personal grievances ahead everything else.
I hope that doesn’t happen. You are correct, we definitely need all hands on deck for the coming assault.
