In the NFC, five 8-6 teams appear to be competing for two available spots, though the 9-5 Seahawks haven't secured their postseason berth yet.
And while the Steelers, Cowboys and Giants wouldn't make the playoffs if the season ended today, all would get in by winning their remaining two games. The Vikings, who would make it right now, do not control their own fate.

week 16 ping
there are about 7 games at 1pm EST with playoff competing teams. At, 2:30pm, I plan on hitting the sports bar with satellite TV and all the games on their 10 TV sets. Can watch the 2nd half for all the games. It’s the only way I get to see PT vs CIN.
Embarrassed to admit it, however, I love the DirecTV NFL package.
All the games except the ones on my local channels and the RED Zone.
Yeah, it’s some $ but I do get to see my Bears and suffer the humiliations...
RG3’s knee is better so he gets to take on the lifeless Eagles.
NFL is not the hot topic around here. It’s game day.
Atlanta got a game on their hands, trying to wrap up a bye and #1.

Not unless the topic is Tebow.
jets are aleady down 7-0 on a punt return for TD at 13:01.
Jets isn’t going anywhere anyway. Both ‘Boys and ‘Skins are down 7-0 in the first quarter.

6 LATE GAMES NEXT WEEK, UPDATED SCHEDULE:
(both networks will carry an early game and a late game)
Miami at New England 4:25 PM CBS
Kansas City at Denver 4:25 PM CBS
Oakland at San Diego 4:25 PM CBS
Green Bay at Minnesota 4:25 PM FOX
Arizona at San Francisco 4:25 PM FOX
St. Louis at Seattle 4:25 PM FOX
Dallas at Washington 8:20 PM NBC

i think in New England we get the Pats game and Green Bay late. And the early games: Jets game and NYG. I’d rather watch HOUS-INDY at 1 pm, but we get the Jets. GOP-ma, What do you think will air on Boston-CBS? Jets?
How about those Seahawks?
I did 14-2 this week.
SEA @ REDSKINS would be a good showdown with the winner looking like they are facing ATLANTA. Maybe.
Wilson, the defense and the Seahawks are looking like the real deal. I don't think the Redskins can match the Seahawks.
I'm a Packer fan, but their lack of consistency concerns me.
SO if my Bears get in (win + MN loss) they’ll play the Niners (Packers will get the 2 seed if they beat MN) unless the Niners lose to AZ (LOL).
