Maybe he was an underemployed eagle that and he didnt want the responsibility

I watched a film of an eagle killing a baby deer. He picked him up and let him fall several times to kill him. I’m sure the deer was heavier than this baby.

I think the kid’s mom probably scared it and a good thing she did before it gained any more altitude.

The baby probably just felt “not right” to him. It didn’t smell like food—think of the smell of human baby, with powder, laundry softener, diaper, baby poop, and lotions—and the crackling of the disposable diaper is not consistent with typical eagle prey, and had clothes instead of fur, and it just didn’t register like a rabbit or chihuahua. he might have just thought, “WTH, all these humans are screaming, this is more trouble than it’s worth. I’m gonna go find me a Yorkie to snack on.”

Kid had a parka on, probably didn’t latch onto the skin and only had some jacket in the talons, that kids guardian angels were working overtime.
