A point to remember: broccoli is good, better than Peptobismol and amoxycillin to cure the acid urps. Much better than ulcer surgery.

I was kind of weird as a kid....one sign of that weirdness is that I've always loved vegetables,including broccoli.

When I was a boy, everyone used to boil the vegetables until they were soggy and tasteless. Not surprising that I didn’t like them.

Now, my wife just cooks the veggies a little, and they really taste good. Who’d’ve thought that broccoli could taste good?

President George H.W. Bush declares that his mother made him eat broccoli, he does not like broccoli, he is now the president of the United States, and he is does not have to eat any more broccoli.

A little over one minute.

I make a great salad with fresh broccoli, radishes, cherry tomatoes, onions and califlour. Chop it up and add Italian dressing.

There are five vegetables that have these same medicinal benefits, they all originated from a wild cabbage plant native to England. They are:

* Cabbage
* Cauliflower
* Brussel Sprouts
* Broccoli
* Collards

I eat all these often except for collards...

I say blend the broccoli into tiny little pieces, mix it with flour and use it as breading for shrimp, chicken, etc which is then fried til it turns crisp. Call it ObamaBreading and give it away free. Let the pig promote it on the tube.

A Broccoli recipe from my wife. Place on cookie sheet and drizzle with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and some parmesan and broil for a few minutes. It is fabulous.

I was just diagnosed with H-pilori, and took a round of powerful antibiotics that really didnt agree with me. They put you on two -500 mgs of amoxicillin twice a day, and one 500 mg clarithyimicin twice a day. Lots of side effects. I will start adding more broccoli to my diet, thanks for the info.
