Funny. I just went on the waiting list for the first Jack Reacher novel. According to the author, this movie is taken from the 9th book in the series called "One Shot". I also reserved a copy of that one too. The Los Angeles public library is pretty good about getting copies too.
I read One Shot. Actually twice because sometimes you miss something on the first go-round. I remember I read about the book first coming out in a couple of months so I immediately got on the list. I was #42.
