Thanks for the ping and Happy Freeper anniversary to you.

The book based on our book club's work is finally finished, and Billthedrill is prepping it for a pitch to an agent who specializes in conservative books. I'm hoping we have something as appealing as Larry Schweikart's Patriot's History.

When you consider how Hamilton and Jefferson behaved during their years in Washington’s cabinet during his first term, I would have understood if Washington had gone down to the stables, picked up a horsewhip and applied it liberally to the backsides of both men.

"What a perversion of the natural order of things to make power the primary and central object of the social system and liberty but its satellite." - James MadisonGreetings, and Merry Christmas! Thank you for all your contributions over the years, and for reminding us of this bit of Madison wisdom.
Sadly, the "progressive" movement, in its 20th and 21st Century determined quest for power, provides ample illustration of Madison's observation.
